My CLK 209 always display speed and in km/h !

My previous W203 saloon I can choose what to display on the left would be outside temp and the right would be time . In the 203,this is customisable.

See picture.

In the CLK, it seems you cannot display both at the same time but I would prefer outside temp.

Also see picture

I can't see the option to change that. I have tried many it says basic display, there are 2 options:
1) Speed
2) Outside temp.

But even if I selected option 2, it will still display speed in km/h! Please help.

thank you.

It's not possible, unless you get it coded, alfie did mine at a GTG.

may I know who is Alfie and how much does he charge for deleting my UK mode via STAR?

Cheers

On a similar note, I also noticed that the CLK 209 (or at least mine) doesn't display door open warning or boot open etc.
The 203 did this and will let you know which door is not properly closed!

Now I miss my W203 :(

Look for members Alfie and/or Richard. They are both members on here and do a great job for a fair price. They coded my W211 too!

A website of theirs: www.comandonline.co.uk

And welcome to the best forum!

If you drive off with a door or boot not closed the flashing red warning will appear - similar to the handbrake on warning.

Not this one but the ones that says door open.

Just like door ajar or not closed properly before you even drive off.

Now almost all cars have this. Some are specific to which door and side is opened/not shut properly or some will just warn that one of the doors not properly closed.

The 203 does this. Wonder why the CLK 209 doesn't

yes I noticed my does too when driving off with the door not properly closed.
