Manheim website?

Tell me more...

Ta

Manheim auctions. I paid a sub for 3 months access to the online access of cars coming up for auctions at the differents locations. MB have a sale at Colchester twice a month but the problem is the website doesn t have much detail on a car I am interested in. I need to find out more before heading out there.http://www.manheim.co.uk

My plan is to buy a car at auction within warranty and extend it from MB.

cheers

try this site. http://www.freecarvaluations.co.uk/

Do you think you will save much if any by the time you add on the commisssion and bits to the hammer price. I bet you could find a great car from the thames valley trader thats being sold private for same money.

Under 20k hammer price at auction. Glasses comes up with px value:

Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class CLS320
3.0TD Diesel 4-door Saloon
7 Speed Automatic Rear Wheel Drive
Year: 2006 06
Mileage: 19,000

Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition:
£22250
Average condition:
£19900
Below average condition:
£17700

I agree it's often possible to get a better deal buying privately if your prepared to do the legwork.
Strictly speaking there are no bargains at auctions. Your up against a hall full of traders who have the resources to bid a car to it's true value. In a private sale there may be no other serious buyers in the frame. Few sellers can resist
a low ball offer if the buyer turns up with cash !

Thanks Trompost saw that one though dealers are selling for same money which is very strange. I have even heard that dealers are calling private sellers to get stock. I think prices of used are moving upwards because no one is buying new.

Big X that for the prices. I called the dealer who sold the car and no spec so time up game over on that car.

I have found a deal in Scotland so waiting to work out how to get up and look at it.

Cheers
Ian
