Hi everyone
I am a proud Mercedes owner who has in the last year started using this forum to aid me in fault finding on my 2005 C270 CDI elegance saloon. I like many here on the forum have good mechanical knowledge and skills, I spent my teens and twenties working on cars for several garages, my weakness however is auto electrics!
I have owned the car for around 5 years with 4 years of trouble free motoring, in the last year I have had to fix several squeaks and rattles that are a sign of age, and at 45 I'm beginning to show signs of wear and tear myself.
I'm now considering trading the C class in for a used ML270 special edition, but I dont want to do this until I have solved an electrical issue which I will post I hope in the correct forum.
This is why the title of this post is 'I need to spend more time online'! what is a sticky post? no matter how many times I have read it I still dont get it.
Im off to the 'electrical' forum now wish me luck
