Thanks for reading this and for any advice offered: there's an SLK 230 Auto '99 B-reg with 13,000miles in silver and black leather with a full Merc service history that's sat in Central london for most of its's life hence the low mileage and is in very good condition ie no scuffed wheels or stone chips and one (female) owner from new.

She's asking £12k. Is that a fair price?

Any advice at all would be much appreciated because I don't know much about cars and have never had a mercedes before.

B Reg, u mean V i asssume...

anyway, I personally would not buy a car with such a low mileage, it would probably have more problems than one in daily use.
I would inspect the history closely and judge the mileage by the conditon of the rest of the car. Also makesure you get a HPI report done.

Thanks

Jay

I agree with Jay. That low level milage might not be as good as it seems. Full service history will only be one service on a car that's 6 years old but hardly used.

I would at least want a full service and mechanical survey before I bought it. Car's like this don't like not being used.

I would agree, get the AA or equiv out to do a full check on it, got to be worth the £100 odd quid it will cost

Oh and a warm welcome to the mad house ;)
