I would like to recommend this website for tyres

Just looked up the Goodyear F1 Assymetrics and I got them cheaper - fitted - at my local MB dealer in Swindon..........

You might also consider e.tyres.com depending on where you live. They are competitive pricewise and do the job at your home or workplace. Balancing, weights the lot and you don't have to drive anywhere. :bannana:

Dont mean to be rude but i wont believe that unless u show photgraphic evidence :). MB dealers charge something like £150 per hour? even if the whole job took 1/2 hour it would be £75 just for labour, then u got the 4 tyre prices to add on... :)

Like crockers, I got my Pirelli's cheaper elsewhere (e-tyres to be precise)... Fantastic tyres too...

thats so wierd.. just checked e-tyres for goodyear eagle f1 and they charge £130ish, camskill charge £97 .

I then checked 245/35/18 (for my tyres) on camskill they are £133 for eagle f1's, and £129 for toyo t1r's. On etyre the cheapest tyre they have of that size is £170

Mine quoted me for 2 Michelin Primacy HP's - I had a pretty good idea how much they would be and when he told me the price, it was a tad high, but I thought "that's not bad, for an MB dealer".

Then he said "each".

I have no reason to mislead you .........so attached..

The trick is to call up and ask if they do tyres? If they ask if you have had any other quotes then say yes -- and give them your lowest price ..and they (in Swindon) will match or beat....in this case they matched Bathwick Tyres...

And they are Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetrics .............

crockers.. that's been my experience too. MB Swindon have been the lowest price for 2 yrs running. AND you get your tyres balanced and fitted by MB in their nice clean workshop... :)

I've used Camskill. Not only were the only place I could find the tyres I wanted without delay, but they were also the cheapest supplier I could find.

My local MB dealer subs out tyre fitting to Quickfit...so the usual MB labour charges do not apply. I think most do this now. The van comes to the dealership and is descreatly parked out of the way. I know this because I had some new wheels fitted and when I checked one of the tyres had been stretched and left with a bulge in the sidewall. Replaced foc by MB....fitted again by Quickfit!

Well that's not the case in Swindon as you can see into the workshop area......I just think they are quiet at the moment ...

I just ordered a pair of Falken FK452's from Camskill last week ....

245/40/17's were £68 each ...

I get mine at a local tyre fitters

my last set of fronts (eagle f1 asymmetric 225/45 17's) cost me £190.00 inc VAT and fitting :)
