had it 12mts it 1999 not disclosed to me when i brougth

a lot of MB's come in as imported.. the key question is when was it imported.. if shortly after manufactured then not an issue..

Both my Merc are imported but as they are out of MB/Dealership waranty period, it makes no odds.

Incidentally, how did parts department come to the conclusion that your car is imported?
Did they say it was a problem or anything?

rang them they could not find vin no so rang me later saying it import but said it wasnt a problem

MB did import quite a few w210 from the middle east after a couple of cancelled deals.

Also many W211's were imported from Germany due to Command demand.

All UK Spec mind you..

I imported an A Class from france in 2000. I made sure it was to full UK spec (or higher) and I didnt have any problems with warranty, service or final resale.

mine is imported from south Africa,and more than happy,no problems at all i.e parts etc:bannana: ,was told about it when brought the car but had all service records from south Africa and all records since been in this country
so would not worry about it
