Indy recommendations in Beds/Herts area - willing to commute

Hi All

I've got a 2008 W211 and am debating whether to stick with MB servicing (as it has a full MB history) or start going indepedant, tempted to try and stick with MB to mantain resale values however at this age not sure if the indy costs will outweigh any increase in resale values.

Can anyone recommend any trusted indys in Beds/Herts? I'm near Luton but dont mind travelling if really needed, somewhere within a 30 mile radius would be ideal though!

I've got a MB warranty with the car and just want to get a healthcheck done by someone who knows what there doing to fix anything that may be needed before it expires, also want someone I can take it to for repairs if needed even if I dont use them for servicing.

Go to Wayne gates in Harrow. On the edge of your 30 mile limit and Harrow's a ball-ache to get to but well worth the journey. He'll neither let you down nor rip you off.

A 2008 vehicle should have a digital service record.
As an Indy we can maintain this ( as can others ).
What you will lose going down the independent route is your mobilo breakdown service. But then if your car were to breakdown would you really want it towed to a main dealer for repair?
The aa etc offer good roadside assistance/ relay cover as an alternative.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll give Wayne Gates a call, they seem to have good feedback so thats great, I have Mobilo but also breakdown cover with my bank account so dont need that, got a years warranty with MB which I need to maintain but i'm sure they said its valid as long as genuine parts are used.
