Hi everyone.
Does anyone know what injector bolt and washer is the same as a vito 02 112cdi.
I have spoke to main dealers near me and they don't do commercial parts (5 mins away). I can get vito ones but there 20 miles away from me and they say they don't see part numbers.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Post your VIN, will see if EPC has the part number

It's a bolt and a copper washer...how hard can it be?! I always thought all cdi engines of the era used the same parts!

V220cdi is the same motor and is a passenger vehicle...

Thanks for everyone's input, V220cdi come up trumps.

Does anyone have any tips to re-seat seal first time and only time

Thanks for looking.

Try polishing the seat to remove any carbon/crud.

Re-cutting should be your last option and only if the seat is pitted or damaged.

Bolt torque 7Nm + 90' + 90'

Can anyone give me advise, my w204 c220 cdi has had issues with 1 injector seal leaking, had them done at mercedes specialist, however 1 continued to leak, before i could get it back to the garage the injector ripped out the engine, i retapped the damaged threads from an m6 to a shorter m8 threaded bolt to get me by, and now its back at the specialist theyve told me the thread was still damaged, theyve bored it out to an m10 and fitted an m10 bolt, alwell as drilling out the injector clamp to m10 to acomidate the bolt, do you think this will last???? Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.

Should be fine so long as they made a good job of the injector seal and didn't drill too far down into the cylinder head water way below the injector bolt hole, I'm sure its ok no need to worry.

:)

Thanks mate! I love the car and this one problems really getting to me, and i think i hit the water way myself to be honest when i tapped the m8, just hope the m10 gives a good enough seal, cheers!

I am appalled at the way some people give BAD advice as to repairing a stripped injector retaining bolt hole thread. The clamp that holds the injector in has a concave hole that matches the ROUND Mercedes bolt head. LOOK at it! This is designed that way because the angle of the clamp may not be the same for every injector. The way it is designed it will apply equal pressure on the clamp. Also, the original bolt is designed to stretch. That is why you MUST use a new bolt. As soon it has been torqued (7nm, then additional 90 deg, then another 90 degrees) it cannot be used again. Using an 8 or 10 mm bolt is NOT an option! If the threads are stripped, drill the hole out to 6.8 mm. Then tap it to 8mm and use a threaded insert. 8mm external and 6mm internal thd. If the hole is already screwed up (as in above threads) and tapped out to 10mm thd, then use a 10mm ext thd X 6mm internal thd. I used the ones from Kerb Konus. They have a "Precoat 80 antitwist" coating that prevents the insert from coming out (It has to "cure" for 24 hours at room temp, It also hardens at -20 deg, but takes longer. Their website is www.kerbkonus.de . The site is also in english.
I'm sure that there are many other companies that sell similar products.
When drilling and tapping the bolt hole, make sure you measure the depth of the hole so that you don't drill too deep. The threaded portion of the hole is at the bottom, and not too long (I mean not too many threads) The insert is only about 12-15 mm long. Then ONLY use the Mercedes Benz bolt. Also, the Mercedes tool that cleans the seat of the injector (at the bottom of the hole) is a brass brush with a long shaft and grip that you turn until the seat is clean. Look at it with a flashlight. The white lubricant is applied the outside of the entire length of the injector. It is applied in case the injector starts leaking, and helps prevent the injector from sticking in the hole (black death). There is an old german saying: Better right (correct) than often. Do the job right, don't screw around with larger bolts, the injector retaining method was designed for a 6mm original, round headed MB bolt. If you follow the advice of people who have no knowledge about about this (and nothing to loose if you screw it up) then you may up having to send your cyl head to a company in germany that will weld the hole shut and redrill and retap it (complicated, head must be heated, welded etc…) for about 300-400 Euro. I have a tel # somewhere if someone needs it (they speak english, as the owner worked in USA for several years (a used cyl is EXPENSIVE). But, do the job right. MB uses Helicoil, but I'm not that impressed by them, as they mostly come out with the bolt, a pain in the ***. Good luck!

NOT fine. Replace bolt with threaded insert (10mm ext X 6mm inside) and use original MB bolt
