I'm sure you may have but .....have you tried Money Supermarket? I'm pretty sure that as you come near to the end of completing the forms it gives you the option of ticking all the different modifications on the car.
Smart City-Coupe, Toyota iQ, Nissan Cube, Ford Escort xr3i Cabrio MK4
Try MSM insurance, they are a broker but also a small family firm who we have known for a few years now & have come up with some stonking quotes for modded Smarts in the past (and have just quoted my step son for his Smart at almost 1/2 the best online price!)

Different companies have different terms when it comes to modifications to vehicles, some will not quote, some will and make a charge, others will with no charge. Ourselves, usually the companies we deal with for a few cosmetic mods it would not effect the rate. It tends to start to increase the premium when performance enhancing mods are applied. Also on modifications to a vehicle, we also do not charge an admin fee, where as some companies also may apply an admin fee to mods that you do to a vehicle and each time the policy is updated.
Thanks for the info Dan. I thought cosmetic mods shouldn't make a massive difference. Although my insurance compamy did state that it increases the chance of your vehicle getting nicked, which to an extent is true, but on the whole rubbish!
