Just seen an advert on Men and Motors for this.

Has anyone used it?

It seems quite reasonably priced.

Weird scheme. Lose your license and they give you £500 or £1000 per month (depending on the premium you pay). You still have no licence though!

I have been using it for about 6 months, the point of the payment is you can afford to employ a driver if you need to (I do as without being able to get around the UK I wouldnt have a business), I have the option that they are not advertising that pays £2k per month.

Its worth every penny to me.

Where was recycled passing judgement? I'd say he is entitled to his opinion and as a statement of fact ("not losing your licence is cheaper than paying for this insurance") he seems to be quite correct.

Perhaps you want to apply better judgement yourself before labelling other people's opinions as "daft" just because you happen to disagree with them.

You will not have to remind me because it will not happen.
As for being daft, paying someone money to help you in case by your own stupidity you break the law and lose your licence must rank as being one of the daftest things on earth.
i did not pass judgement, i just gave an opinion. Two different things.

Lets hope Andy K does not see your post as he does not like drivers who break the law and by paying this insurance you are just admitting that there is a chance you will break the law and lose your licence.
Infact this could be seen as encouraging daftness on our roads

50.5 in a 50

60.5 in a 60

70.5 in a 70

If you hit any of the first speeds listed you are as bad as you think I am, so is anyone else on here who has any points.................................I wonder if there are any of them?

Now Now people. This is s very friendly forum and I for one would like to keep it that way. Can we please have less of the anger in the thread.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and once given, if you don't like what someone has said and you find it really offensive then I suggest the best course of action is to take it up with a moderator. It should not stoop to a slanging match.

Personally I don't think it's a good idea but each to their own. Plenty of people may find it a "Daft" solution and barryj, I don't expect to loose my license if I am caught doing 30.5 in a 30 zone.!

You seem to have come off your high horse about the actual crime of speeding? realised that you sometimes let your speedo creep above 70mph on the motorway when overtaking?

I do not not like rip off cameras ,never have never will, i will not get caught by one either and if i see a NIP i will contest it in court.
