Hi all,

I managed to get a good deal on my new C63 insurance with direct line. However they want the tracker activated to insure. Now normally I would but paying tracker a further £399 plus another £30 to activate isn't something I feel is worth it. Plus if it's stolen I wouldn't want it back after some f***er blasted it.
So anyone recommend a good insurer?
I have tried mainstream companies. Anyone affiliated with this website or discounts available?

Cheers

Do a forum search for Danaf I think it is-----Adrian Flux.

Hi Chopper.

Direct line asked for a tracker as well for me when i changed the car. So I switched and went to Admiral instead. Similar price so no brainer for me. I guess tracker does provide some benefit but thought DL was playing a little too cautious...

I got a good deal with esure, £360 for 33yrs old and 5yrs ncb on a second policy.

OP, I am also insured FC with Direct Line on my C63. There is no requirement for a tracker and my premium with 17 years NCD is less than half of what you've been quoted?
Insurance quotes do seem to be somewhat of a enigma...:dk:

Hastings have always done me well. 27, 7yrs NCB, no points = £460. I think my excess is £400 total but NCD is protected, European cover added also.

My new postcode dropped it a fortune, almost £300.

Jesus I think I need to sack my company off I'm paying 1100 quid with my 45 year old mother in law on it I do how ever have no ncb as been a company car driver since I passed my test with no proof

I am late 50's clean licence, full NCB, no restrictions on insurance with AVIVA and they don't care about after market GPS trackers as long as the OEM's security is functioning normally. £321 with courtesy car and because I took it out through work (private aerospace company) I got an additional £60 off this premium!!! £500 excess though (but I insure this separately!).

MoreThan £220

Just out of interest, how do you insure the excess separately ?

Presumably because the company deal came with £500 excess and no option to reduce it?
