After not being driven since the end of Nov, I took my fathers '01 C200 K up to Heathrow this afternoon to give it a run and pick him up.
The car started fine, and I had no problems until I noticed the radio display,hazard ligh button and heater controls had all gone really dimly lit. The main speedo display was still bright.
On my return around 6pm, again the car started and ran really well, but now had no lighting in the above areas?
Is this a sign the main battery is on its way out? It had around a 190mile round trip.
