Does anyone think this problem could be the Interior Temp Sensor ?
My symptoms are every now and again the blower comes on full power and heat for about 10 mins, I have no control over the fan speed or temp, they both come on full.
I've changed the blower regulator so it not that.
Car - 1999 W202 C Class

Thanks For Any Help ;)

In any case I would consider it an issue with the blower regulator. This is how my MY 2000 W210 behaved when the regulator started playing.

Hi,
If you haven,t got digital climate control, it won,t be your cabin temp sensor, and more likely still a fan control issue IMHO.

I think the car has automatic climate control but not digital.
I've just fitted a new regulator, I also thought that the regulator just controllled the fan speed and not the heat also ?
Thanks for the reply's and thoughts !!

The regulator only controls the fan speed. Or the AC control unit actually controls it, the regulator takes care of the high current drive according to the control signal from the control unit.

Perhaps your HVAC has automatic temp control but manual air flow control? The latter usually comes with the digital display device.

The other forum suggested a faulty control panel, anyway
I thought I'd take the control panel out to get the proper part number and also to see how it fits, Up util then the problem was getting worse, happening almost daily.
Since removing and refitting it's been fine !!
I'm thinking maybe a lose connection ?
Been OK now for nearly 3 weeks
