Get an intermittant grinding noise at the end of braking on the front off side disc. any idea as there seems to be plenty of meat left on the pads???

it could be a bit of grit stuck in between disc and pad or the debris shield on the back of the hub, just an idea

Could be a small stone, or other hard debris, on your pads mate.

I've been getting a similar thing for months . . . ever since the Nurburgring, come to think of it (!) - no noise when actually braking, but when easing off and coming to a standstill there is definitely something going on there - noticeable vibration and noise ! I'm assuming its coming from the brakes, of course - could be totally wrong ! I'm expecting I probably need either new discs or pads . . but need a specialist to investigate !

Might be contamination in the brake pads itself.Or an early warning that theyre on the way out?
