I have a 2020 reg glc 300d that intermittently won’t initially start. When I press the start button there is a quiet noise but no attempt to actually start. If I get out and lock the car, then try again it starts, but this is annoying and I worry as it’s getting more frequent. The dealer has said they can help as they can’t replicate the fault. It’s happening a few times a week and my gut thinks it’s a software issue, but hoping someone will be able to help me if they have experienced the same?

Ive experienced that a few times and have put it down to the battery as the car isn’t used much. I haven’t left the car though, just repressed the start button
