I'm not sure you would have made anything in the last 25 years.

At Christmas I saw crude oil at $37 bbl and though buy, that's as low as it's going for now. I missed it and it peaked at £53 bbl at new Year..

I didn't know how to buy commodities..need to look into that.
Would I need to buy futures or could I just buy oil at a spot price.?

btw - much more convenient to buy the oil ETC - no need to store the oil

you can set up an imaginery portfolio and track it daily for fun
be VERY wary of the market at the mo - its completely bent!! - lot of emotion

thats who my friend works with, they are in peterborough and thats exactly what i did

as for shares its a case of "not with a bardge poll"

im not BUYING im just curious

ive been an avid watcher of oil and when it was $140 a barrel i thought we were all doomed then it went down to $35 in under 6 months

buy oil now as it will go up in the next 2 years but ive got no where to store it all







please no one think i was serious about storing the oil

i am Doc Aardvark on most other forums until my friends named my first merc ('96 w124 e320 sportline coupe) The German Flower Pot as they all had fords and jokingly said that they should weld the dors shut, remove the sun roof and fill the car full of mud and then plant flowers in the sunroof hole = hence the german flower pot

im a wuss, i shout then speed off and hide before they realise its me and beat me up, better to look a bit mad then people leave you alone in my experience
