Car
B class b200
Hi to all.

Looking for some advice. I have purchased B class b200 with audio 20 command system I believe, the year of the car is May 2013 auto.

In the centre front glove compartment just by the heating dials is a Kingston usb connector. Using just the standard iPod charger cable which has the pin part to connect to iPod and usb I connected my iPod to car, straight away it began to charge my nano but it would not play any music, I went Aux but nothing.

Am I using the right cable, or am I doing something wrong. Have read that b class only supports certain iPods which I find crazy.

Any help would be ace, thanks in advance

Regards

Paolo

At a guess I'd say it will only charge that device via USB and not read files, do you have an aux jack lead coming out anywhere else in the car that can be plugged into the iPods headphone socket?

If I plugged my iPhone or an iPod into the USB port on my car I know it wouldn't read files just like any normal MP3 storage device, slightly annoying.

Hi guys, it seems the USB port comes out of where the cigarette lighter used to be so it does only charge the iPod.

I have noticed in the centre glove compartment there is a jack and iPod adapter. I will try tomorrow to see if my iPod works.

Regards

Paolo
