mate you have to remember that 430 parts are often the same price as the AMG ones... the discs are HUGE, IIRC the same as the 55 ones... so are the pads...
what happened to your CLK!??

Have they got AMG part numbers though ?that's what makes them expensive !
CLK55 discs are £209.15 each, CLK430 are £69.33 each (less from me!) so not too bad.

I've always been led to believe that items such as brakes etc on a 430 are essentially the same as the 320 models.....to double check I went on Euro Car Parts and this is what I have found.....the 430's look the same as the 320's and brake discs are £49 each whereas 55's are £155 or so each....pads on the 430 are @ £26, whereas Pads are £52 on the 55.
Servicing costs will also be cheaper on the 430 and near as damn it the same as a 320, albeit you will need extra spark plugs for the extra 2 cylinders.

Pads CLK55 £137.89 CLK430 £58.86 (in stock - try to buy one that needs brakes )
So running costs are quite a lot cheaper...

Discs and pads are the same.
just looked... the CLK 430 Coupe that i had has on the spec list "sport brakes" so maybe they specified AMG brakes at order... all i know is that they cost me a fortune!!
Just got and fitted new discs for my E430 and pretty certain they are bigger diameter than E320 discs, 320mm i think.
From fitting list is was E200 up to E320 all the same. then e430 then e55, estates rears were also different
Got then from brakes international £116 delivered to my door.
Brakes were very good before and now are even better.
