is there a away to test your glow plugs

What sort of problem is the car experiencing?

Simple answer, yes you measure the resistance across it.

one of my plugs was not connected, so i looked into it and turns out its a damaged one, common problem with glow plugs, sometimes the bolt head snaps and then your buggerd, it has to be drilled out, or head off. i know someone who will do the job for me "drill it out " but he asked me to check the other ones aswell, false economy not to. so i need to check the rest of the plugs to see if thay are working ok

if ones gone, chances are the rest aint far behind, swap them as a set.

I just had my Glow Plugs changed as a set. One of the them broke off while they were trying to remove it and they had get a get a specialist in to drill it out and re-thread the hole. The glow plug change was £240 plus £120 on top for the re-threading. I wasn't happy but better than a new head, I suppose.

Ouch, I am feeling especially lucky now that mine only cost me £30 to replace all four.
