Is there a realistic alternative to an SL?

Well it's hopefully going to be mine by the weekend if all goes to plan!
If it hasn't got a few bits and bobs I'm sure it'll do!

You are a lucky man, wish I had the funds for an SL63!

I know it's a 5.5 ltr, that's why I was saying it was from old data, when the plate was previously on the car.
Do you think I look at a car costing £55k and not know what engine is in it :D

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be a smartarse.
I have known buyers before unaware of what they were actually buying.

Hope you enjoy the car..it looks an animal:bannana:

Although it is no longer offered in the full morning format that I did, the 1 hour driving experience at MB World may be worth considering.
I've done countless track days etc but found the people there who take you out in the cars to be of the very highest driving abilities. If like me you tell them you own a SL63 and want to explore the characteristics/limits of the car and you it will be time well spent.
I certainly came away with a much better understanding of the cars and my capabilities/limits.
Judging by the fuel and tyre wear when I dove my car in a similar fashion, I'd say its great value for money too. First rate instruction from people who know the cars and can drive to boot.
If its a rainy day all the better.

Didn't get all the way through the post.

mat8n As you've already bought it I take it you know all you need to know but otherwise look under E4RWS. :)

Yea I've got that thank you.

It's seeming to get better by the hour!

Do you have the full spec now ?

I do, it has enough bits and bobs, few things not on it but nothing that is going to affect me!
Carbon kit, panoramic roof, Harmon, neck scarf, 19s+20s, and a few other bits, nice spec but not the ultimate.
1 o'clock tomorrow pick it up.

Who do I host pictures with now Photobucket.com is silly?

Service pack and manufacture warrenty too, so that counts for A bit.
