Is this the coolest car ever?

In my youth I occasionally did some deliveries for a company specialising in Triumphs. We had a 2500TC estate in white and we were bored one lunchtime so we decided to turn it into ECTO 1. As you can imagine it looked B.AWFUL but we thought it was funny at the time.

Agree with the others; the answer must be "NO"

Erm ... No!

I think it is awesome.

Recall seeing a white W124 with red interior that had been subject to a Ghostbusters conversion and that was pretty cool too.

I think an A-team van could possibly top this for coolness though..

Even as a teenager I thought the film was over-hyped rubbish. We had to endure Ray Parker Jnr (who was he anyway ??) on the radio countless times a day singing the stupid theme song in order to plug the film weeks before its release.

So £70k for an old Caddy ambulance made to look like a prop from a bad film must be a joke better than any from the actual film itself.

Ignoring the price [obviously written under the influence of a malevolent poltergeist ] its pretty cool! :thumb:

No, it should have been zapped with one of their own ray guns and sent into oblivion!

It probably leaks ectoplasm from the heads anyway!

There are some serious cars at that auction.

I'm getting worried about Jay. First the Popemobile, now this!

lol! I do like "different" cars...

ive got a terible cold, maybe the beechams is having an effect on me.

No. It's just about the ugliest car ever!

(Sorry, I realise this has already been said, but not by me) :)

They're expecting £40k-£60k for it and it's not the real thing! It's one that someone has made to look like the one in the film!

Also in the write up for a 380SL R107: "In addition, a rare and desirable hard top accompanies the car which allows all year round driving."

Rare hard top?

It wont fetch anywhere near that, you would have to be crackers... but at around 10K id say its a good prop for a business..
