Is this the coolest car ever?

I suspect thats another "Ascot" car - we work around the orner from a house with a massive underground garage and buildings up the side of the house where he kept all his "specials" - batmobile etc.

Actually, I think the house has just sold.

Thats a very cool car would love to drive round in that with the siren going :D, i saw that car a few years ago having the interior done as the guy who done it done my shelby

They're expecting £40k-£60k for it and it's not the real thing! It's one that someone has made to look like the one in the film!

Also in the write up for a 380SL R107: "In addition, a rare and desirable hard top accompanies the car which allows all year round driving."

Rare hard top?

Bearing in mind that 'Eleanor' replicas of the Mustang GT500 from Gone in 60 Seconds were being sold for in excess of £50,000, it may be of interest to someone

Jay i think its pretty cool too....

i loved gostbusters and think this is awesome but no way worth the asking price as you say about 10k max

The Eleanor Mustangs do sell for silly money due the film but you can build one for less then half the asking price.

I agree will not get the asking price but will sell for more then 10K.

Even as a teenager I thought the film was over-hyped rubbish. We had to endure Ray Parker Jnr (who was he anyway ??) on the radio countless times a day singing the stupid theme song in order to plug the film weeks before its release.

So £70k for an old Caddy ambulance made to look like a prop from a bad film must be a joke better than any from the actual film itself.

Loved that song, who you gonna call???? GHOSTBUSTERS
DA DA DA DA DA DA GHOSTBUSTERS!!!

I was listening to the Radio on Saturday and a guy called in and admitted to being an organiser of a Knight Rider event... owned a replica Kitt. This car would be about as embarrassing to drive down the road.

Have you built yours yet?

Yes finished a couple of years ago i'm know building Eleanor's little sister :D will post some photo's in that next day or too.....:thumb:
