Have looked into rs6's and 996's but the 996 without the turbo would feel a bit slugish.Ive drove my firends 996 and he drove mine and he was positive that in a straight line drag the 32 was a quicker car, not ruling a porker out though.

The 996 3.4 is quicker in a straight line than a C32 - just depends on who's driving . The 32 feels quicker as lower speeds because of the inertia involved.

If I were you I'd be looking at a 4.5l V8 Cerbera. Wave goodbye to those Porsches as they disappear in the mirror

Then wave as they pass you broken down by the side of the road . Actually I would suggest everyone owns a TVR at least once - You can pick up a nice Cerbera for £15k - budget £3k a year running costs.

Well mine is a 3.6 and i really do not think the C32 is faster

It's a very close call looking at some figures - bearing in mind they all differ as to who tested what. Quick on the twisty stuff is more entertaining regardless!
