i have just introduced myself in new members area!!!

yesterday i purchased a 2003(53) e320 cdi avantgarde, and im over the moon with it. its done 76k,

i just have couple of small questions at this moment is whether its possible to link current audio to ipod in anyway????

are there any warranties worth buying??? or are half them not worth paper they printed on?????

Warranties? Most are pretty steep and you get little coverage. I'm sure one of the others will be along soon with help on that one. The audio question will be answered too.

Welcome along Russell.

No great warranties, I'd set aside £100pm for repairs instead and be happy when none come in.

iPod. Does the car have a COMAND (built in navigation). If so it should. If no Nav definitely no way to fit an aux in.

A FM transmitter thing is the easiest and cheapest solution.

hi steve, i think that seems the best option on warranty front!!!, its got 3 months as standard, however that i believe is waste time.

plus i only do 4-5k miles a year so cost of warranty prob would'nt pay off!!!

no its not a nav unit its just audio 20 i think!!! (new to this)

Aye if Audi20 no hope of iPod connection, and it cannot be retrofitted. Lots of CD's or an FM transmitter is your only hope.

Search for valeo radiators on here, and take the action accordingly. Big issue, potentially.

I would be interested in getting this done.

Alfie told me it was not able to be done and that I'd need to fit COMAND to facilitate iPod/Aux input.

as for rad there is an old sticker down below rad that says behr, is there anything else on the car that could be behr??? if not then thats a good sign isnt it?????

I may have this wrong. The US forum guys send their units off to Becker (in the US). But when trying to find a similar service here I have drawn a blank so far.
