Key dependency w164

Can some one please clarify for me if key dependency is available 0n the M class early 2006.
I was told that MB removed this option for safety reason on later models.
I have this feature enabled on my w203 and I find very convinient, specialy when my wife use the car because she is 4' 11".

Doesn't work on mine and that is a 2006 (56) with keyless go. If you want the seats to move after you open the car then press the memory button and hold it until it has stopped unfortunatley...thats if it has the memory function.

However it does have easy access where the seat will go back and the steering wheel rises slightly when the door is opened.

It is desappointing I was looking for a positive response but I will get use to it
