key fob

hi all,
i have a c class year 2000
can anybody help me with regards to a spare key .
have seen them on ebay but when i contacted my local mb dealer they said that they could not programe it .and would have to spend £150 for new key !

Hello,

I think its a stealer only job, I know a few people asked on a BMW forum I was on.

It seems when you get them reprogrammed you can get them to add 'features' lights on, auto windows etc...

dealer only all das3 keys come already programmed so can order straight from parts department

mine's the type with the steel emergency key that unclips..

the car supplier paid for it (WDM cars) but thought the bill was around £50..
