Key & Speakers

Hi Guys,

Firstly, probably a simple one for you guys.

What size speakers are fitted to a 96 'N' plated C180 W202?

Secondly, my remote locking doesn't work on my key?

I have tried new batteries, they are fitted correctly, but don't understand why it's not working?

Any common problems, or ideas where I can start?

Also, if I need a new key, how much is it going to set me back?

Hello. Not 100% sure but I think the speakers are 13cm. The key fault may be that the switch breaks off the circuit board inside the key. Its glued together but can be carefully opened up and re soldered if ness. The only thing to watch is the spring to flick the key out should be wound the right way. The other fault with the keys is it might just need synchronised. to do this, make sure the car is open, Point the key at the interior mirror and press the button for 2 to 3 seconds, then switch the ignition on within 2 to 3 seconds. If successful the key will now work.

speakers is 5.25" 13cm

the key is a easy fix when you first get it opened you can use a cellphone camera to check if there comes light in the key if it is the ir version if it is light it is another problem
