This new model seems to have been designed however to give you a one chance jamming signal so you can slow down, smart! The older models kept on jamming and gave the game away.
Well the problem is you'd need a pretty good Barrister, loads of pennies and balls of steel to call their bluff!! Get it wrong and it could be 'go to jail, do not collect £200'.
Whilst You could sucessfully argue that it was a garage door opener if it only had a transmit option, the problem would be trying to explain why a garage door opener needed to have a laser warning receiver fitted! Hence the fitting instructions 'suggest' making the installation as discrete as possible. A common trick is to fit them behind the lower spot light blanking plates on cars without them.
