Yesterday, a warning came on: "Left Cornering Light" with a graphic of a bulb.

Got home and took it out for a drive and the warning message was gone.

I checked under Messages and it was gone there too (I think I may have acknowledged it when I first saw it, so that may explain why its now disappeared)

Before I ring the mechanic, anyone know what this means? Does the bulb need changing or is something more involved?

thanks

Front left foglamp bulb? Does the appropriate fog light-up when you're in a tight slow turn?

Cornering light is sometimes just a small light in the headlamp that turns on respectively in the direction you're cornering, on my facelift lights the corner light is just a little H3 bulb I think

I haven't checked - I'll need to get someone to drive the car and whilst I observe.

Hopefully its just a bulb change and not the light unit itself.

You should be able to see the light, in mine it's angled

Should be a h7 headlamp bulb, you can see it through the headlamp as above, you can also see the failed element.

Got an appointment on Sat for a free summer health check - will see if they can do free fitting on the bulb.
