Lenny's CLS 55 AMG

Knew there was someone out there with a similar level of OCD as me ;) Yours is beautiful Lenny and nothing comes close to what this car offers for the money. Nothing. Love it!

Mine’s probably not as clean as yours but I’ll get the hose out this weekend. As I’m sure you’ll agree, it’s important to detail inside the fuel cap too… :D

Thanks mate and appreciate your comments. When you count up what's been spent over the last 6 years to run this big girl (not including fuel) it really does waken the senses lol.

I'm big into my car cleaning and really enjoy getting this one sitting pretty !! Lol@ the fuel cap! Your' does look squeaky clean!!

If it's any help, my car is kept off the road for approx 6-7 months of the year now. As long as they aren't laid up for significant times , generally everything seems to be fine when you fire them up again.

Yours is an absolutely stunning car !! Values are on the increase and just think carefully around what you do with it - cars in standard guise are becoming rarer (yes I have done mods to mine but I have kept all the standard parts to revert back if needed)

Best of luck with the sale 👍🏻

It's not for sale bud..I am in too deep now. But can confirm I've had it back about 5 weeks now from the body shop after some odds and sods were tidied up and its looking great !

Looks fabulous in the sun

Possibly the best looking CLS55 out there. Got to be a very rare colour combination, but looks stunning.
Ah shucks !! Now stop, Jules!! 🤣😜

Its a great colour to be fair.

200 miles away from 100k!

@Jukie thanks for the kind words about the car .

Being a family man now with 2 young kids , logically it's a 212 or 213 E63 wagon.

However, I do also fancy a GL350 and could become very boring. Very undecided in general.

Placing a value on the 55 will be difficult...it's a buyers market, especially with all the external factors at the moment such as BOE rates and cost of living crisis

Love that colour and the wheel combo, very nice CLS!

Plenty of space in your cls for 4 keep it, it looks amazing.

Decision made. Its time to move on😕

I'll be posting the car for sale hopefully by the weekend (weather permitting I can get it washed and get some good photos)

Any genuine interest, feel free to PM me

Regards

Lenny

I’ve just gone through this thread and the advert and I have to say that if I was in the market for a CLS55, this car would be a no brainer. The colour combination and alloys sets it apart from the others (I previously owned a black and a silver CLS55), as does the great condition which starts to become a concern on cars of this age. The amount of tlc and preventative work done on this car is immense, this in itself is a primary consideration when buying.

It must have been a very tough decision, but all the very best with the sale and someone is going to get a cracker of a CLS55……..

Funny I stumbled across this ad the other day and thought it looked a lovely example. Would make a lovely partner to my E55K Estate but guessing they are little too similar really and just trying to tell myself it would be a good idea.

Never driven a CLS oddly let alone a CLS55 but guessing they are pretty similar to drive although maybe the CLS55 will have the edge being a bit lighter and lower centre of gravity I suspect.

That would make for a cracking partner and a more than able replacement for the Aston…..

Funny you should say that as the Aston departed on Friday! Just not sure it makes much sense having an E55 Estate and a CSL55 though. I shouldn't really buy anything more and if I did it should be a smaller/lighter more sports car biased. Current thinking is to get the two GTi's MOT'd andup to scratch then drive these a bit more. Also the Alfa GT could do with a bit more use but have loaned it out to a couple of friends a couple of times to give it some use.

Always fancied a CLS55 but it never seems to have worked out for whatever reason.
