Now then folks, thanks for letting me in the group. I've recently moved from a Jag F-Type to my C220d C Class convertible. I have to say both my wife and I are really enjoying it. The main reason for moving is we are going to be towing a caravan. I'm based in North Lincolnshire UK so give me a wave if we pass. IMG_20241028_112427.jpg

Congratulations on your new car and welcome to MBClub.

Towing a caravan with a convertible is a rare thing, I can only remember seeing one other person doing and that was a member of MBClub too.

Lovely car, bye roof looks great too. I do live a convertible with a coloured roof. Blue on blue is a classic and classy combination 👌🏻

I have to admit the C Class was never on my radar. I like my convertibles having come from motorbikes. The F-Type was a great car but not rated to tow. When my wife started her mid life crisis I reluctantly agreed to part with the F-Type but it had to be another soft top. Imagine my surprise when the C Class came up in my Google search.

Welcome! I will look out for you if/when you come to Skegvegas.
I would imagine that a C class, let alone a convertible version would be a rare beast in Skeggy :p

Au contraire, even though the mighty C250d AMG Line Premium Plus S205 has left Skeg, MB variants seem to congregate here in the Summer. Many of them towing wobbly white boxes. We welcome them with open arms as we need more caravans, we are short of them around here!🤣
Skegness is much maligned.

Wave if you see this car and white wobbly box

full

Greetings and welcome to the group from me.

Very nice looking car, and i too only bought the convertible because i still have motorbikes..... love feeling the bugs, salt and cold water on my face ;)
