Looking for a garage

Thats like mine . So now we know the engine type we can check the fuel pump relay .At the rear of the battery you will find the fuel pump relay i will post a picture after this . Pull out the relay .Now it is not as easy as everyone thinks its cliped in with spring tabs that are on the holder it sits in . I use a couple of pieces of flat plastic to shove down to release the tabs holding the relay in place . Now once you have the relay out , wire the 2 pins on the base,, number 7 and 8 with a loop of wire , so it joins them both together ..Next step is to replace the relay back in to its location. Now crank the car over to see if it starts with the link on the fuel pump relay in place. Now if it it starts you have prooved that its the FPR thats faulty. And this link must be removed as soon as test is over ,.Dont be fooled and take it for a quick run ..I will post a picture in my next message .The one i have is to large to upload .

This is the location of your furl pump relay ..you will find a plastic cover at the rear of the battery the relays are at the back of it ,it just pulls out .Your fuel pump relay 53880-29dbf1cd52c22bfddd518544a1dcf437.jpg number might not be the same .

Hi Sunny. Buying a 22 year old Mercedes Benz when (by your own admission) you have no mechanical skills is a massive leap of faith and I hope it works out for you.
You have come to the right place for advice.Welcome along and Good luck :thumb:

Have a look at the dizzy cap. Its only 3 screws to remove. Look for corrosion inside it. As said before, they eat them and cause non starts.
