Hi,

Can anyone confirm the torque for m156 spark plugs please.

Seen a vid that's says 18 ft/lb or 20nm. However converting 18ft/lb's is not 20nm.

Using NGK

Cheers

If it helps anyone in the future someone provided me with the info.

M12 thread 15-20N m (recommended tightening angle About 1/3 turn)

Answer with an ex Royal Navy WW2 Bosun's voice from the memory banks as an apprentice .
Laad !
Tight is tight and too tight is overtight!
So with that in mind and the threads are good /not marred up and not fouled up with dirt/debris then its this read on :-
And with his Cornish accent "thems be new'uns".
If re using them, install to snug, then a1/12 of a turn or one flat.
Don't go mad.
