MAF - Engine Light CLK CDI

Hi
Have had the engine light on my CLK 270 CDI 2004.
It is intermittent. comes on for a journey then diappears for day or so. Had codes checked and was P0102 (MAF).
I haven't noticed any symptoms...is it worth me replacing the maf?
Note: Code was cleared, but light came back on...
