MAF for CLK???

can anyoen tell me if it will fit on my 2001 (x reg) CLK 320 Vert - I really want to see if replacing the MAF cures my idle probs....as its non Merc, does nayone have a view abotu genuine merc vs non-genuine?? Ther are so many MAFs on ebay at the mo - be grateful for any wise advice
