MAF sensor insert prices

What sort of prices are people paying for inserts from Bosch agents here ?
Can't help thinking there may be a cheaper VW one that will also fit Mercs.
People are still being ripped off big time to the tune of £400 for dealers to supply and fit the whole unit.

There is a Bosch part number on the insert. You can buy them without the housing.

try to order the the sensor only and it takes ages and ages but they will come in stock
