Making Mercedes new dual clutch gearbox.

That would explain it. They've subbed the manufacture of the clutch to Magnet Kitchens.

:D

I'm surprised that so much of the assembly is a manual process.

I wouldnt fancy being on my feet all day doing a relatively static job like that - why dont they have a stool to sit on or something?

The new A and B CLASS transverse boxes ---manual 6 speed and 7 speed dual clutch boxes evidently share a lot of components ---3 shaft design similar selector mechanisms etc ---- they were designed with that in mind--- built in the same factory on the same line I am lead to believe.

Amazing that they can be built and tested in the space of not many minutes! If only they could be maintained/repaired so easily :)
