Malfunction electrical consumers switched off

E W211 270 cdi 2002/03.
any ideas,it came on for about 10 seconds then went out.

Your battery is a little on the low side,probably due to the weather and extra drain.


Your car will turn not necessary things off until the battery has recovered, and then switch them back on when the voltage is up again.

You could by a charger and charge the car say once a month

Its generally quite a normal thing to happen.

if it happens alot I suspect either the battery is kaput or there is a problem with the alternator or battery control unit.

Get it checked if you are worried. Thats the best thing to do.

Your hardest job is to find someone honest enough and with the correct equipment.

If the car is not used everyday then that can give your problem. the blip as its called is just until the alternator has put back what the alarm has drained
