Marmite Brabus Wheels

Great wheels on the right car, date the car but then does it matter...

I remember when Strastone was near us in Wilmslow and used to look at the cars in the showrooms :)

How rare are they ?

A few sets turn up for sale each year , so not that rare , but they are unusual.

Personally i love them . They'd look great on a Brabus'd up 190E or a w124 or even an r129 ( although i don't think these are wide enough to give 'the look' )

Or an early W202:

Just bought them. Interesting looking wheels will see how they look on my E class. if not good will save them for my 129 when I get it. :D

Hi Les ,

If i'm honest , i'm not sure they will look right on a w210 , but on your 129 they should look ace.

Just down the road from you in Hampton if you want a second opinion ;)

The 210 would be better on IV's I think - SimonsMerc had a set on his (that I subsequently bought)

These wheels are ace but agree with comments that the wider version looks better with the deep dish.

I am neutral on splits versus one piece version....although i have got the split version fitted to my Spruce Green 500E....9.5J x 18 up front and 10j x 18 rears. Color coded centres, polished deep dishes and gold plated studs. The car looks phat and awesome.

These wheels do work really well on all pre 1995 MB's with a bodykit. Of course, the w124 500E needs no bodykit, it is naturally well-built on it's metal intake of steroids it got at the Porsche factory ! I was delighted to find a genuine 'Porsche AG' sticker on a boot panel inside my Spruce Green 500E last week, a delightful find !

I`d might buy them off you Les
