Favourite wheels

The Ed1 G60 in the first post was and is still a very rare vehicle. Made in LHD only for the German market it was a lucky buy for me from a very disgruntled (divorce) seller in Derby. Incredibly modern drive, supercharged , A/C, power steering, electric Recaro seats, electric windows and finished in Dark Burgundy Pearl it was a real looker. This one is somewhat near if needing some finishing.
Ooof, that's nice.

These are nice too, cost an arm and a leg 🦵

Will be shifting my set soon, need to put the centres back to silver first. Don't think I'll be asking that price though! 😲

That's the going rate though, the pre-merger stuff are soo rare, they exchange hands for top dollar. Those wheels really suit the SEC 😎

This thread has rightly concentrated on alloys, but (with respect to the other awesome bits of machinery already posted here), one of the coolest cars featured IMO is ironically riding on steelies.

Well, I suppose I could show yawl when I had 3 Calibras on the road at the same time.......
They do all have different wheels too.

Still got the outside 2 (a 16v & a V6), sold the middle one (aV6) but replaced it later with a mint R reg bodyshell (without an engine) to build up into a mint V6............ eventually. Life does tend to get in the way of wishes & dreams unfortunately.......My 3 Callys 40dpi.jpg

SpikyMikey - Porshe wheels?

When I finish the subframe replacement on the Coupe, I am fitting the AMG alloys I got off Fleabay.
Here's a pic, They are now bright Silver, not the grey/silver they were when I got them.

I really really wanted a big bumper 16v in Oak Green, but I also loved Atlas Grey (?) and Helios Blue (?) with the tinted rear lights. Such handsome cars.
Mine was a rare car as oak green wasn't available in the uk till 1990 (mine was LHD HF LZ 156 was the reg 1989 ) C&R enterprises in notts rebuult the engine after i over filled the oil at dover ,(long story, ) and to this day they've still got it on there system as theyve never seen 1 since I haven't a clue what difference though 😀

Love them 👌🏻

Unfortunately Wagon Wheels have bucked the trend of wheels getting bigger as the years pass.:D
It's a myth...Wagon Wheels are one of the few choccies that's always been the same size.
They have not got smaller.... we have got bigger!

The Cynical amongst us may suggest that Burtons Biscuits would say that...and others have a different take on it.
10 chocolate bars which have changed their size

My fave of all time. Obsessed with shadow chrome since, so I got my W212 wheels done in that finish.
