MB parking sensor supplier?

Hey guys!!

Would any one know who is supplying parking sensor and related electronics to MB.... is it Bosch? And are the sensors used is MB cars optical?

Really appreciate the help!

On a couple of kits that I have come accross were indeed a mix match of Bosch parts integrated with actual MB parts for example the visual idicators - not sure if that is still the case.

The MB supplied retrofit kits are supplied by Bosch and these use metal capped sensors - they are not optical

Aftermarket kits could be from anybody.
OEM parts are I beleive bosch & certainly are on my CL203. The sensors are ultrasonic, as are the majority on the market

Older models (e.g. W203/W210/W209) used Bosch sensors from the previous generation (ParkPilot URF4)

Newer models (W204, etc..) are using latest Bosch sensors which are smaller.

Bosch is the major supplier of parking sensors in European cars - in fact, I bought Opel brackets for retrofitting original Mercedes sensors without a need to buy a new bumper - and they match 100% since both sensors are Bosch.
