MB to launch new SLK

I want to buy a new SLK280 but I am conscious that the current model has been around now for 4 years. Therefore I am wondering if MB are about to facelift it like they did with the first SLK and also when they are planning to launch the 3rd generation SLK which I am guessing could be in the next 2-3 years. Does anyone know?

I would be sick if I bought one now to find it got facelifted or dramatically changed in the next couple of years.

The face lift is due next year but you would not notice any difference it will look exactly the same from pics and speculated info.
