McLaren SLR 1000 UP!

Only 999 (or less) of them are running though, after a certain boxer decided to test his engine out.

what will keep its price better, the CLK-DTM or the SLR. I have read numerous reports of the amount that will be produced.

These range from just 100 up to 350??? I do know however they are all sold, plus they did make some of them with the sterring wheel on the proper side. (RHD)

I reckon the CLK-DTM will be the better bet. Awesome car

Depends what you want

would appear to agree with you.;) Think it depends if your want a track day car-CLK-DTM or a trans-continental GT- SLR Mclaren. I dont know what the long term prospects for a carbon fibre bodied car are, but I bet they're better than a metal bodied CLK. Looking way into the future the higher production figures for the SLR probably mean you will still get bits for them whereas the CLK-DTM??? This is not probably what crosses the mind of any prospective customer who can afford such a vehicle however.:D:D

One minute we read about how Dieter Zetsche wants to cut down the amount of models being produced by DaimlerChrysler, then in the very next breath we read of this rumour. What next a mini R-class to match perhaps the GL - ML SUV's. Or maybe an S-class estate :D
