Memory Seats S204

I have been used to my previous 3 series and my Passat memory seats automatically recalling a memory setting depending on which key is used (my key or wife's key). My new S204 facelift does not seem to do this and the recall number button has to be held in until the seat has adjusted.

Is it possible to make the seats adjust when the car is unlocked (BMWs) or when the door is opened (VWs) depending on which key is used.

Incidentally the BMW also recalled the Air con & Radio settings.

I have recently experienced the same disappointment with the Mercedes Memory pack, my previous E92 BMW had the key linked memory you describe but my E Cab does not.... Unfortunately nothing you can do about it, unless someone knows something I don't??

Sounds like a very useful feature. If VW can do it, why not Mercedes.

Silly me! I just expected it to do it.

You could do it with most previous models of MB with memory by making a small change with the star machine, im sure it must be possible on the W204 too.

On some models you can just change the setting in the dash.
