There's some truth in what is said but I think he's exaggerating a fair few points. Personally I don't like those pre facelift AMG wheels on facelift R129s (but really like them on pre 1996 cars). And that grill looks awful to me but he says he has the original.

Saw this and thought it is a car that's been fiddled with. And then over-sold. Basic rule is that you don't sell stuff by saying everything else is crap and mine's proper. Not for me.

his whole sales pitch .... he really was making it sound "to good to be true" on every aspect of the car!

It was listed last week at 5something k with the rims and 4something k with other rims if you didn't like the higher price.

He seems like he wants the best of two worlds,rather than just sell the bloody thing as is.
