Class Cars in Wingham on the Canterbury Road - definately the place to go if you want your Merc, Porsche or Smart Car fixed, serviced, modded, etc at sensible prices - not astronomical main dealer prices.

Steve is always friendly and extremely knowledgable about the cars that he looks after - and all of his servicing is done on a fixed price servicing basis.

Check out their new website at: www.classcarscanterbury.co.uk

The guy is the biz.

Hi

Can you tell me what work you have done and pricing as compared to MB Canterbury or Vikings ?

I have just been looking at these people's Web Site and was about to visit to get an idea of their services/costs etc

Many thanks in advance

Bill

Class Cars, Wingham

I purchased a C180 on a 1997 plate in April last year.

Not long after purchasing it I noticed oil on the driveway.

I went to Vikings to have the car checked out and was told that the rear main oil seal was leaking oil and the head gasket was leaking oil.

Gearbox out job and head off job along with possible skim of the head.

Vikings quoted me £1800 labour alone + £200 for the parts + an extra £350 if the head needed skimming.

I took to Steve, in fact I rang them first asking for their price and he quoted me over the phone - £985 all in.

He kept me informed all the way through - it took a few days - and he even rang me after taking the gearbox out - to ask if I wanted the gearbox filter and fluid changed, etc - which I said yes to as the filter was about £4 and the atf was about £25.

As I say, you can't beat them - especially as they will carry out all of the required warranty work as well should you be lucky enough to buy a brand new MB.
