Some choose their cars based on street cred and performance, others on function and comfort. I chose the B because it met our needs and was the best car at a very good price. 8 years on, I'd make the same choice again.
Boring, I know, but thinking about use cases and requirements (both essential and desirable) helps the decision process. "Head over heart" says Mr Sensible, until you see something that you can't walk away from and then everything else goes out the window.

Liked our B class, looked okay as AMG line, just chose the wrong engine, B180d.
Our A class, A200d was a far better engine but found the car a little cramped. My choice would be the B200 or B220 but just my preference.

We had a 62 plate B200d Sport for 3 years. The only reason we parted with it was because we fancied a change (E Class saloon). Belting little car it was too.

Which one do you like better?. I have a amg premium plus a class in black and a polar sliver b class. Which shape do you like. I'm planning on selling one to get a gla.

I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I love the shape of my B, I am sure many dislike it. I also like the shape of the A, however, when I sat in one it seemed very low down. The GLA is a shape that appeals to me, just my tuppence worth!

Yes the a class is very low the b class is higher and can seat more people easily.
