Hi Guys,

I have a CLS 350 (2012), it's a diesel model.

I was driving around my local town and my engine management light came on, so I popped into my local Kwik fit store were I knew someone who helped me identify why the engine light was on:

The stored faults:
P0191 (Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor - Outside Specified Range)

The guy erased the faults, the engine light was reset. All was good for the rest of the day and then the following morning the engine light came back on.

Any ideas on this? Where is this located? Is it easy to replace? I don't have warranty either :(

See attached the pictures of the fault.

Help would be appreciated, many thanks guys

Any symptoms when you drive it?

Suggest you get the codes read using STAR. Whereabouts are you, maybe someone can recommend a good local MB independent?

As suggested get to a local indy and get Star on it,post where you are and somebody will know a good indy near you,I know it sounds like we are copping out but it could be a few things and it is just cheaper to get these faults looked at by star.

Thanks for your replies guys,

I have checked many things the past few days since posting this thread:

Put half tank of fresh 'ultimate diesal'.
Drove different speeds, 40, 60, 70, 80, 100, 110 (no signs of any problems.
No error messages on the cluster instrument.
All electronic features work fine
Didn't find any leaks.

Things that caught my attention:
  1. Takes longer to start my car up (Cold starts only).
  2. A few times I have heard a clicking noise at low speeds after rough driving.

I am based in a village called Caddington which is part of Luton.

Thanks for your replies & help guys :-)
