Mercedes Garmin Pilot SD

Couple of things. NTG5E star 1. Garmin Pilot sat nav

Tried everything
1) cant change the red arrow to a saloon car icon. Even though it’s present under the Vehicle folder on the SD card
2) cant get POIs to work to show speed camera. Tried All speedcam updates for all GPS mobile devices, GPS in-car, GPS PDA followed all the instructions correctly

Any help will be highly appreciated

Speed cameras will not show an icon on the map.
It just beeps when approaching them, one for cameras on your side of the road and two for cameras on the opposite side.

Also when in map view you will get a red banner across the top with Chinese writing in as you approach the cameras.

Yes but why can’t I see speed cam icon on the map?

Because there is no way of adding the icon in a format for it to display.
