message on dash

just bought a 2005 E320CDI. There is a message coming up on the dash saying "MAIN INSPECTION PERFORMED ON TIME?". The car has had a service recently but the book is only marked for engine oil and fuel filter. Does anyone know what this means or how i can cure it

Hi sounds like the garage that did the oil/filter change(not mb?)didn't reset the service indicator so the car thinks it has exceeded the distance/time since last service so needs resetting(if you do a search of the forum there is a how to reset the service interval on dash somewhere)hope that helps.
